PRIVACY POLICY

SafePlace ("we", "our", "us") is a VPN service operated by DuosDigitos LLC. We are committed to minimizing the collection and use of personal data. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and how we protect it.

MINIMAL DATA COLLECTION

SafePlace does not require registration for basic use. A random device identifier is generated locally on your device to manage server connections. This identifier contains no personal information and cannot be used to identify you.

Optionally, you may sign in to access premium features: with Sign in with Apple (iOS), with your Google account (Android), or with a one-time code sent to your email address (all apps). When you do, we receive the email address of that account (for Apple, your anonymous relay address unless you chose to share your real one). It is used solely to link your account and is not shared with third parties.

ACCOUNT DATA

If you create an account (via Apple, Google, or an email code), we store:

We do not store your Apple ID or Google password, payment card details, or any financial information. All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).

NO TRAFFIC LOGS

We do not log, monitor, or record:

For service operation, we store minimal technical data: a last-connected timestamp per device (to manage server rotation) and your preferred region setting. These cannot be used to identify your internet activity.

We have no ability to identify what any user was doing on the internet at any point in time. This is by design.

DIAGNOSTICS YOU CHOOSE TO SEND

When you send feedback from the app, your message travels together with a technical report so that we can investigate it: the app version, your device model and operating system version, whether Premium is active, your Smart Bypass country setting, and the app's own recent log lines (connection attempts and errors). This report never contains your browsing activity, the contents of your traffic, or the sites you visit. It is used only to work on your report.

When a connection fails, the app may report the failure to us (the network type, the region you selected, and the time) so that we can detect servers that have been blocked. This report contains no browsing data.

NO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The apps contain no third-party advertising, analytics, or attribution SDKs. No advertising networks, no install-attribution services, no third-party trackers of any kind. The Android app includes Google's Play Billing and Sign-In libraries solely for purchases and for signing in with a Google account.

We do not use cookies, fingerprinting, or any tracking of your VPN traffic. Your region preference and connection settings are stored on our servers to provide the service.

DATA SHARING

We do not sell, use, or disclose to third parties any data for any purpose. The only exceptions are the services needed to run SafePlace: Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play), which process purchases; Apple and Google as sign-in providers, if you choose them; and our email provider (Yandex Mail), which delivers one-time sign-in codes to the address you provide. We do not log VPN traffic and therefore have no traffic data to provide in response to any requests.

ACCOUNT DELETION

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. When you delete your account, we scrub all personal data (email, auth provider links) from our servers. Anonymous purchase records are retained for audit purposes. You may sign in again at any time to create a fresh account.

ENCRYPTION

All VPN traffic is protected using modern cryptographic protocols. Your connection passes through secure tunnels that help prevent interception by third parties, including your internet service provider.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

SafePlace is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SafePlace after changes constitutes acceptance.
