SafePlace ("we", "our", "us") is a VPN service operated by DuosDigitos LLC. We are committed to minimizing the collection and use of personal data. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and how we protect it.

MINIMAL DATA COLLECTION

SafePlace does not require registration for basic use. A random device identifier is generated locally on your device to manage server connections. This identifier contains no personal information and cannot be used to identify you.

Optionally, you may sign in using Sign In with Apple to access premium features. When you do, we receive your anonymous Apple relay email address (or your real email if you choose to share it). This is used solely to link your account and is not shared with third parties.

ACCOUNT DATA

If you create an account via Sign In with Apple, we store:

• Your Apple relay email (or real email if shared)
• A device name (e.g. "iPhone 15 Pro") to help you identify your devices
• Subscription status and transaction identifiers (for Apple In-App Purchases)
• An optional recovery email if you choose to link one

We do not store your Apple ID password, payment card details, or any financial information. All payments are processed by Apple.

NO TRAFFIC LOGS

We do not log, monitor, or record:

• Browsing activity or traffic content
• DNS queries
• Your IP address (originating or assigned)
• Bandwidth usage or traffic metadata

For service operation, we store minimal technical data: a last-connected timestamp per device (to manage server rotation) and your preferred region setting. These cannot be used to identify your internet activity.

We have no ability to identify what any user was doing on the internet at any point in time. This is by design.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The app uses the following third-party services with limited scope:

• Unity Ads — displays ads to free-tier users. Unity may collect device identifiers for ad targeting. Premium users see no ads.
• AppsFlyer — measures app install attribution. No browsing or VPN traffic data is shared.

We do not use cookies, fingerprinting, or any tracking of your VPN traffic. Your region preference and connection settings are stored on our servers to provide the service.

DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal data to third parties. Data is shared only with: Apple (for payment processing via In-App Purchases) and the third-party services listed above within their limited scope. We do not log VPN traffic and therefore have no traffic data to provide in response to any requests.

ACCOUNT DELETION

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. When you delete your account, we scrub all personal data (email, auth provider links) from our servers. Anonymous purchase records are retained for audit purposes. You may sign in again at any time to create a fresh account.

ENCRYPTION

All VPN traffic is protected using modern cryptographic protocols. Your connection passes through secure tunnels that help prevent interception by third parties, including your internet service provider.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

SafePlace is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SafePlace after changes constitutes acceptance.
