A safe network for the people closest to you.
SafePlace is a VPN: your traffic is closed to prying eyes on any network — at home, in a café, in roaming. The fuss stays with us: the network is our own, we keep the connection alive and deliver updates ourselves. Your part is the seats — two to five, for you and yours.
Download for macOS Download for WindowsmacOS 0.9.3 · Apple silicon, macOS 12+ · signed and notarized by Apple. Windows 0.9.3 · 10/11 64-bit · signed, no administrator rights needed. Free to start — no account, no time limit.

Nothing here for you to run.
Anything that must always be up needs a spare, a watchful eye and someone on duty — availability is bought with overhead. That is the real cost of running your own server. We carry it instead: our own servers, standby routes, monitoring that never sleeps. Your side is one button.

Our own, end to end
Every server is ours: we run and maintain each one of them ourselves. Nothing to choose, rent or take on faith.
There isn’t one
No configs, keys or imports. Download, press Connect — the app picks the route itself and switches transport when the network gets difficult.
It looks after itself
The menu-bar icon always shows the tunnel’s true state. If the connection drops, you are told. After sleep it retries on its own. Updates arrive by themselves — pinned to a fingerprint.
Seats for the people you protect.
Every plan is the same VPN. What changes is how many seats it carries — and how long it runs.
A seat is a device signed in to your account — yours, or one of theirs. One person usually takes one or two: a phone, a laptop.
Free to start: download and connect — no account, no time limit. Premium raises the speed to 50 Mbit/s, adds automatic server rotation, and opens the seats below.
Longer plan — more seats: week · 2, month · 3, year · 5.
Prices appear here when checkout opens. Until then the app is free to use.
Your account: annual plan; this Mac, Anna’s iPhone and Dad’s MacBook linked; three of five seats taken.
The app lists every device on your subscription; unlink any of them at any time.
Three steps, and everyone’s in.
The first step needs nothing from you — not even an account.
Download and connect
Works right away, free. No account needed for that.

A one-time code, no password. Premium follows your account, not the machine.
Add your people
They sign in on their devices — two, three or five seats, depending on the plan. That is the whole setup.
Don’t take our word for it.
A VPN sees all of your traffic, so the bar for trust has to sit higher than a promise. Here is what you can check yourself, before the first launch.
We don't record your traffic
We do not record, store or inspect what passes through our servers — the privacy policy says it in plain words. And when the app shares a diagnostic log, links and credentials are stripped before anything leaves your machine.
Release notes that admit things
Our release notes say what broke and what is not verified yet, in plain language. A page that only ever shines is hiding something.
A named company, attested by Apple
The installer is signed with the Apple Developer ID of DuosDigitos LLC and notarized by Apple — the file you download is attested to a real, named company, not an anonymous binary. One command checks it:
$ spctl -a -vv -t install SafePlace_0.9.3_aarch64.pkg
SafePlace_0.9.3_aarch64.pkg: accepted
source=Notarized Developer ID
origin=Developer ID Installer: DUOSDIGITOS LLC (4MC9CGAH7W)
Meaning: the installer is provably ours — Apple vouches for the name behind it.
Updates pinned to a fingerprint
The app updates itself only to a package whose SHA-256 matches the one our server names — never merely “anything signed by us”, which would also accept an old build with known holes. The download button and the updater hand out the byte-identical file:
$ shasum -a 256 SafePlace_0.9.3_aarch64.pkg
dd5252fb7794aff309226d2dcf068f1cfc43db15c5566b41dc8e5c8e97e79417
Meaning: what you download is byte-for-byte what we published — nothing swapped in transit.
One place — safe place.
For you, and for the people you brought with you.
